We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team at Houk Air Conditioning Houston in Houston, Texas. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring they function efficiently and effectively for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate installation requirements and determine necessary equipment and materials.
- Install, connect, and maintain HVAC systems and components according to specifications and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and make adjustments when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and provide guidance as necessary to ensure projects are completed on-time and to high-quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent, and report progress to project managers and clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certificate in HVAC systems preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including but not limited to AC units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
