Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are a leading HVAC and Plumbing company in Round Rock, Texas. Christianson Air Conditioning & Plumbing is hiring a motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will perform various maintenance and repair duties on different heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. Your work will ensure our customers have a comfortable and efficient indoor space at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment and systems, including heating and cooling units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure that equipment is in good working order and meets required standards.
- Identifying and diagnosing problems using diagnostic software and tools.
- Installing, repairing, and replacing parts and components of HVAC systems.
- Responding to emergency repair requests promptly and professionally.
- Communicating with customers about repair needs and explaining the cost and timeline of repairs.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
