Admissions Coordinator-Skilled Nursing Facility

The Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of New Port Richey is currently seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As the Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing effective facility admissions, ensuring a positive admission experience for our residents. This is a full-time position based in Port Richey, FL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answering all inbound admissions phone calls
• Assisting in assessing potential residents clinically and medically
• Meeting with new admissions to complete admission paperwork
• Communicating and discussing potential new admissions with the clinical team
• Coordinating admissions with hospitals, physicians, home health, and hospice
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Skilled nursing experience preferred
• Medical or healthcare setting experience preferred
• Strong customer service experience

Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
