Waynesburg Healthcare And Rehabilitation Center, located in Waynesburg, PA, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As the Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and safety of our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a monthly schedule of fire drills
• Act as a liaison between contractors and administration
• Determine and coordinate needed renovations or modernizations
• Investigate and diagnose serious mechanical and electrical maintenance problems
• Inspect the building and grounds to ensure operational soundness
• Provide educational development for maintenance personnel
• Collaborate with Life Safety and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
• Maintain all equipment and applicable licenses

Qualifications:

• Ability to work within a long-term care nursing facility
• Knowledge of regulations pertaining to the Life Safety Code
• Extensive and progressive experience in maintenance work
• Experience in supervision
