Software Integration And Test Engineer

Job Title: Software Integration and Test Engineer Company: Actalent, supporting a leading DoD organization Location: Onsite in Syracuse, NY Roles Available: Multiple positions, ranging from entry-level to experienced Responsibilities Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems Conduct analyses at all levels of total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications Integrate software and hardware, validate and verify software changes, and perform system updates Be hands-on with lab systems and tactical radar systems Qualifications Understanding of integration planning for large systems 3+ years of hands-on Systems Integration and Test experience Experience working with Direction Finding systems (or similar within navigation), digital radars, or integrating sensors or electronic warfare (preferred) Testing experience with Electrical/RF/SW Knowledge of Software Development or Software Integration (coding not required) Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance Other Details Pay: Competitive and based on experience Benefits: Paid vacation, 6 paid holidays, full benefit package Schedule: Fridays off (4, 10-hour days a week) Please submit an up to date resume for consideration or to learn more!
