Job Description - System Administrator
Job summary
Full-time System Administrator position
Support multiple offices with systems, hardware, software, and security
Opportunity to establish foundational technology solutions
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
- Office 365 administration, including tenant migration for new firm acquisitions.
- Windows Server and workstation setup and support
- Manage cloud based VOIP and associated phone deployments.
- End User Support - troubleshooting computer and hardware issues, implementing and managing ticketing system.
- Vendor management - service providers, cloud environments, software solutions.
- Asset and Capacity management - hardware inventory and procurement, licensing, and subscriptions.
- Establish system onboarding processes and technology training for new hires.
- Maintain network security applications, including antivirus and malware software.
- Deploy and manage small office router and firewall configurations.
- Maintain industry knowledge and develop technical skills through continuing education.
Requirements
- 5+ years progressive IT experience. Bachelor's Degree required.
- Office 365 Administration.
- Windows OS Support including server and workstation.
- End user support experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking and security principles: LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
- Experience deploying/managing firewalls, content filters, switches, and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of Group Policies, Microsoft Intune, VM technologies, TCP/IP Model, Vlans, Routing and Switching, Visio, Print Servers, Azure AD, Microsoft ATP defender, Disk Imaging technologies, Backup strategies, SharePoint, Ubiquiti Wireless AP, OneDrive, and VOIP phone systems.
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic and communication skills - written, verbal and in person.
- Ability to identify and resolve technology issues, multitask, and work with attention to detail.
