Housekeeper

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Cleaning patient care areas and rooms, ensuring they maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.

- Scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, furniture, and surfaces.

- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift 30 pounds or more.

- In addition to general cleaning duties, may be required to perform specific tasks such as disinfecting and sterilizing medical equipment.

- Must be able to tolerate odors associated with healthcare facilities.

- Able to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.

- Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.

- Ability to follow cleaning protocols and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
