Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Treatment Nurse (RN/LVN) to maintain departmental supplies, keep equipment operational, organize, label and file charts and medical records, help transport residents, serve as an information resource, complete clerical duties, greet visitors, transcribe and verify admission orders, complete medical records, and order labs/ultrasounds required for new admissions. Responsibilities:

Maintain department's supplies and keep equipment operational.
Organize, label and file charts and medical records.
Help transport residents as needed.
Act as an information resource for patients, families, visitors, physicians, and outside reviewers in person and/or via telephone.
Complete clerical duties for admissions, discharges, transfers, deaths and passes.
Transcribe and verify admission orders and daily doctor's telephone orders in a timely manner.
Complete medical records by reviewing and assembling paperwork in proper order into a permanent folder.
Order labs, ultrasounds, etc. required for new admissions.

Qualifications:

Active RN/LVN license.
Valid CPR certification.
1+ year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and caring demeanor.
