Job Description:
Salisbury Rehabilitation And Nursing Center is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a nursing unit
- Supervise and coordinate the nursing staff
- Create and implement care plans for residents
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Assist in hiring and training new nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided
- Address any issues or concerns raised by residents or their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN or RN license in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
