Job Description
Are you looking for a fast-paced and rewarding position? Do you have a passion for culinary arts and are motivated to deliver memorable experiences to the people that you serve? Would you enjoy learning something new where your talent can be further developed? We currently have opportunities available for a full-time Breakfast Cook to join our Owl’s Nest Restaurant team!
This position will be Monday thru Friday and the hours will be 6:30a-3:00p.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals for residents and guests.
- Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and / or as specified on resident check to ensure consistency of product to the residents.
- Follow recipes, menu notes and production sheets accurately.
- Prepare food in proper amount based on number of servings to be served.
- Assist other cooks with prep and special functions.
- Document finished cooking temperatures and temperatures of foods before leaving the kitchen.
- Properly clean and sanitize work stations and tables.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of culinary experience preferred.
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19, unless granted a medical or religious exemption.
This position will have varied day/early evening hours as well as some weekend and holiday hours.
