Job Description:
The SCO Supplier Diversity & Community Relations Manager will support the development, implementation, management, reporting, and leading all efforts of Intermountain Health’s Supplier Diversity Program. The incumbent will develop and execute program goals and strategic initiatives; collaborate with organizational leaders to identify and connect qualified local and diverse suppliers to RFP and other procurement opportunities; and measure and report program performance and economic impact to leadership and key stakeholders. Incumbent will also serve as a liaison with local and diverse supplier and community advocacy organizations
The SCO Business Community Relationship Manager is successful when they are actively managing customer relationships, increasing job volumes and revenue that is directed to SCO services, increasing customer retention and satisfaction, collaborating with departments to better forecast needs, and coordinating with Marketing and Communications to increase awareness and use of services.
Job Essentials
Develop and implement community and supplier diversity strategies aligned with Intermountain Health’s goals.
Identify and integrate diverse suppliers into the procurement process, ensuring they meet healthcare industry standards and regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and diverse suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and small businesses.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on the importance of supplier diversity and how to effectively engage with diverse suppliers.
Develop programs to mentor and support diverse suppliers in meeting the specific needs of the healthcare industry.
Collaborate with community organizations and advocacy groups to enhance supplier diversity efforts.
Analyze the impact of supplier diversity initiatives on cost savings, innovation, and overall value to the organization.
Measure and report program performance and economic impact to leaders and key stakeholders.
Work to integrate diverse suppliers in a way that drives cost efficiency and supports the organization’s financial goals.
Coordinate and plan local and diverse supplier summits.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree obtained through an accredited institution (Degree will be verified)
Five years of experience in relevant industry (healthcare, supply chain, sales) experience along with certification(s) can be considered in lieu of a degree
Advanced knowledge of customer relationship management and sales
Experience developing reviews, improvement plans, and executing business plans
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute customer acquisition strategies
Demonstrated ability to use initiative, creativity, aptitude, and resilience in the workplace
Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams both internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field through an accredited institution (Degree will be verified)
Additional relevant certifications or supply chain industry certification(s) such as APICS, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma
Experience in sales for a professional services organization
Three to five years of experience in relevant industry (healthcare, supply chain, marketing) experience along with certification(s)
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively establish and maintain successful relationships with all business partners/stakeholders, including senior leaders.
Demonstrated leadership and partnership abilities within business communities.
Must be a team player and effectively collaborate with others.
Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$37.98 - $58.61
