Job Summary:
As an HVAC Installer with SMITH'S Heating, Cooling & generators, you will be responsible for installing and servicing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes furnaces, air conditioners, ducting, and other HVAC equipment. You will work with a team of professionals to deliver the highest level of service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and schematics.
- Install HVAC equipment according to manufacturer and SMITH'S Heating, Cooling & generators guidelines.
- Analyze and diagnose HVAC system problems and make necessary repairs.
- Perform maintenance activities on HVAC systems to improve efficiency and prolong the lifespan of the equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in installing HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of local and state building codes and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.
