Job Title: MED AIDES
Job Description:
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Med Aides to join our team at San Antonio Wellness & Rehabilitation. As a Med Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our healthcare team in providing optimal care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administering medications to residents according to physician orders and established protocols
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of medication administration and resident care
- Monitoring residents for any changes in condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
- Following all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid Medication Aide certification in the state of Texas
- Prior experience as a Med Aide in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
