The ideal candidate will have broad experience in human resources, with a particular focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. Experience within the hospitality industry and familiarity with H-2B Visa programs and other visa processes is a strong plus. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR tasks, providing support to seasonal employees, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, ideally within the hospitality sector or a service-based industry. Experience with H-2B Visa processing and other immigration-related procedures is highly desirable. strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to seasonal workers and visa programs. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills: Experience in multi-entity or multi-site HR management. Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration. Previous experience in training and development initiatives. Ability to foster positive employee relations and handle conflict resolution with discretion. salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment for seasonal and full-time positions, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding. H-2B Visa & Immigration Compliance: Oversee and manage the H-2B visa process for seasonal employees, including liaising with external immigration advisors and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee inquiries, concerns, and disputes, fostering a positive workplace environment. HR Policies & Compliance: Maintain and update HR policies to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements, particularly in relation to seasonal and visa-based employees. Training & Development: Assist with the development and delivery of employee training programs. Payroll & Benefits: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for seasonal and full-time employees, as well as managing employee benefits programs. HR Reporting: Generate reports on HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, and employee satisfaction to support continuous improvement. Multi-Entity Coordination: Provide HR support across multiple entities within the company, adapting policies and processes to meet the unique needs of each business unit.
