Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Manor Of Novi, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring and documenting residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assisting in the mobility of residents, including transferring and positioning
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
To be considered for the position of Certified Nursing Assistant, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Michigan
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a long-term care facility or similar setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
