Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and customer-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Air Flow Designs. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electrical duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning units, heating units, furnaces, and boilers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues by inspecting, testing, and analyzing system components.
- Complete repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components as needed.
- Accurately document maintenance and repair work performed on each system.
- Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation and repair process.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Participate in company training and development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- HVAC certification or equivalent training/ experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance or repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
