The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Job Description

Responsible for the proper identification of all horses scheduled to race. Examines every horse in the paddock for sex, age, color, markings, lip tattoo, digital tattoo for comparison with the information on certificate of registration. Notifies stewards and paddock judge of any doubts concerning the identity of any horse scheduled to race. Assists racing secretary in safekeeping of certificates of registration.
