HVAC Service Technician

A.P. Matthews Heating & A/C is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. We are looking for candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters.
- Respond to customer service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with customers about the services being provided and answer any questions they may have.
- Keep up-to-date records of all service calls and repairs.
- Maintain and update your knowledge and skills through training and continuing education.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- EPA certification preferred but not required.
