HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and installation services for all types of heating and cooling systems. You will be working closely with clients to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, recommend and implement solutions, and ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. You will also need to maintain accurate records of service calls and complete all necessary paperwork.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in HVAC systems and recommend repair and replacement solutions
- Install new HVAC systems and components
- Provide routine maintenance checks and cleaning services for heating and cooling systems
- Conduct performance and safety tests on heating and cooling systems
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of service calls
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients
- Stay up to date with current HVAC trends, standards, and technologies through ongoing training and education

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in HVAC systems preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- EPA Certification for handling refrigerants
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
