Contract overview
This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.
The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:
Market price: $1,000 USDEst.
Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 9 months
In this role as MDS Coordinator at Phoebe Wyncote, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of care provided to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and complete the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments accurately and timely, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete MDS assessments for all residents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize clinical assessment skills to evaluate residents and collect necessary data for the MDS assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to gather required information for the MDS assessments.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation related to MDS assessments and care plans.
- Review and analyze MDS assessments to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Valid license as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care environment.
- Proficient knowledge of MDS assessments and their importance in quality care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to MDS assessments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
