Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, as well as assisting with food preparation. Your attention to detail and efficiency will be crucial in creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand

- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, setting up food stations, and cooking simple dishes

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
