Job Description

As a Certified Nurse Assistant at Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care to meet their needs for activities of daily living. You will assist with personal care, observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental conditions, and ensure a comfortable and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs
• Ensure appropriate food and fluid intake of residents
• Transfer and position residents as needed
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental conditions
• Receive and accept assignments from charge nurse or supervisor
• Apply procedures to promote disease and infection control
• Perform nursing procedures as directed

Requirements

• State licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current and initial certification by examination or endorsement
• CPR certification
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved nurse aide education program
• Enrollment in a nursing education program preparing for registered nurse or practical nurse licensure
• Graduation from a state-approved nurse aide education program with completion of a competency evaluation program

Schedule

We have full-time and part-time positions available with 12-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts. Weekend availability is required.

The compensation for this role will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside the range shown.
