Brethren Village is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Aide / Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, including cutting, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
• Set up dining areas for meal service and clean after meals.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Serve meals to residents and assist with dietary needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure quality and consistency of meals.
• Adhere to dietary restrictions and special diets as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with inventory control and restocking supplies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or food service setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills.
