Job Description for HVAC Service Technician at Eberts Heating & Cooling
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Eberts Heating & Cooling. As a leading company in the HVAC industry, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers throughout Mansfield, Ohio.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and installations on a variety of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial properties. You will troubleshoot and diagnose problems, provide solutions, and offer exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters, checking system performance, and ensuring safety standards are met
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including electrical and mechanical components
- Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and other related equipment
- Provide excellent customer service as the primary point of contact with clients
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong time management skills
- EPA certification and other relevant HVAC certifications preferred
