Position Summary:

The Dietary Aide/Server is responsible for meal service in the Health Care Center dining room. The schedule for this position is 11:30am to close, including some weekdays and weekends.

Pay Scale: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 100% paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance and AD&D for employees working 30 hours per week (with an option to buy-up if desired). In addition, we offer a Flexible Spending Account for medical and childcare reimbursements with a $500.00 rollover feature (No Rollover on childcare) AND the option to purchase Long Term Disability insurance. Eligibility for benefits begins the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 403(B) plan (Eligibility on 403b – 20 hours per week) – We match 50 cents for every dollar saved up to 10% of your annual salary. Matching begins the first of the quarter following 1 year of employment. Full-time employees are eligible to accrue up to 16 paid time off days, 6 paid holidays, and 3 personal days. Pro-rated paid time off is available to part-time employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Provide residents and guests with exceptional customer service
• Greet residents with warmth and respect
• Take resident and guest meal and drink orders, submit to kitchen, and deliver in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of physician-prescribed diets and menu items
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in the dining room, kitchen, and workstations
• Complete all assigned cleaning assignments and sanitation tasks
• Monitor tables during meal service and respond to any resident needs or requests
• Follow proper food handling techniques and standards of quality for all dining and work areas
• Be knowledgeable of therapeutic and textured modified diets
• Comply with all in-service trainings and work-related education
• Willing to be trained with a POS system as needed
