Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Nursing Supervisor to join our dynamic care team at Cape Heritage Rehab. This part-time position involves working weekends as needed at an hourly pay rate of $43 - $45 per hour.

Experience & Education

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN or RN in this state.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Preferably, one (1) year of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare setting.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Maintain current resident care plans for those under your care.
• Follow physician's orders, rendering and/or assisting with nursing care, treatments, and other orders.
• Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately.
• Review and document nursing notes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct and document RN assessments as necessary; report any significant findings to the physician.
• Administer medication according to procedures if applicable.
• Initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
• Provide oversight of Charge Nurse and CNA performances.
• Contribute to positive resident and family relations.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Leadership and supervisory ability.
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement quality care programs.
• Effective communication during emergency situations.
