Senior Embedded Software Engineer Job Description As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will spend 50% of your time resolving issues or devising solutions to prevent issues in products, 25% of your time developing software, and 25% coordinating with hardware and software groups or customers. Work on a team of 4, including one other developer, one data engineer, and one release engineer. The team covers 43 different products that are or contain software, and over 115 fielded versions. This position is 100% onsite. Ideal candidate would have experience with C++ embedded development and familiarity working within an RTOS environment (VXworks preferred). This would be supporting a variety of medical device products including life-saving technology. Hard Skills 8+ years with C++ development (modern versions 11+) Experience working with embedded systems or real-time systems Job Type This is a permanent position.
