Special Olympics Basketball Coaches

Job Descriptions: Responsible for scheduling and coaching of practices of the Basketball Special Olympics Program. Makes certain conditions are safe for practices - proper ratio for athletes/coaches/volunteers. Makes certain all medicals are current and on hand at all events. Oversees entire programs and provides coverage for other coaches who may be absent. Involves volunteers in program—keep paperwork in order. Prepares registration as needed. Assists whenever possible to achieve a successful program. Schedules officials, timers, and volunteers as needed. Oversees other safety aspects. Required Experience: Prior basketball coaching experience, valid Ohio driver's license, and prior experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
