Licensed Nurse (Resident Health) - Job Description

Brookhaven At Lexington is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Nurse to join our Resident Health team. As a vital part of our community, the Licensed Nurse will play a crucial role in providing direct nursing care to our residents and ensuring their overall health and wellness.


Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and conduct routine health assessments
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Assist in managing and documenting residents' medical records
  • Provide guidance and support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of practice

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts RN or LPN license
  • Prior experience in long-term care or a similar setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Compassion and empathy for older adults
