Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler

Ridgeview Healthcare And Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a skilled and highly organized Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the staffing needs of our facility, ensuring appropriate and efficient scheduling of medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage for each shift and department
• Coordinate with employees to determine availability and preferences for scheduling
• Communicate and coordinate with management and employees regarding schedule changes, shift swaps, and time-off requests
• Monitor and track employee attendance, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Manage staffing shortages or changes by finding suitable replacements or adjusting schedules as necessary
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding scheduling needs
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to staffing and scheduling
• Address any employee concerns or issues related to scheduling in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Understanding of labor laws and regulations related to scheduling and staffing
