Garland Heating and Air Conditioning Co is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Garland, Texas. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Keep accurate records of all service calls and equipment repairs
- Attend continuing education classes and stay up-to-date on new HVAC technology
- Help train and mentor junior technicians
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an HVAC certificate or degree program preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Familiarity with all HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioning units, and heat pumps
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
