Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Registration role in the Healthcare industry, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. In this role, you will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of patient registrations, as well as managing customer inquiries and accounts within a bustling healthcare setting. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process patient registrations and maintain accurate records. • Utilize healthcare software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic EMR, and Epic Software in daily operations. • Handle inbound calls from patients, providing exceptional customer service. • Secure necessary authorizations for patient care and services. • Carry out billing functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to healthcare standards. • Execute benefit functions, providing patients with clear and accurate information. • Contribute to the smooth running of Clinical Trial Operations, adhering to regulations and guidelines. • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring patient satisfaction. • Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times. Requirements • Proficient in using healthcare systems including Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic EMR, and Epic Software. • Experience in answering inbound calls and dealing with patient queries effectively. • Skilled in managing authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions. • Knowledge of clinical trial operations and ability to handle related tasks. • Must have strong communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals and staff. • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. • Must maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy regulations. • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is desirable. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in a healthcare setting or patient registration is preferred.
