Supervisor, US DC Operations 2073

This is a job for a Supervisor, US DC Operations position with the company located in Byhalia, MS area.

Responsibilities: Assign daily work assignments based on workload and customer orders. Conduct daily start up communication meetings with associates. Monitor associates' activity during the work shift. Ensure production standards are maintained. Manage a team of full-time and temporary workers during the work shift. Plan labor to meet business demands. Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, including safety policies and procedures.u00a0Administer coaching and counseling as approved by Distribution Director and HR Manager.u00a0Other duties approved by the Distribution Management Team. u00a0 u00a0

Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2 years of supervisory experience in distribution or logistics is required.u00a0Must possess basic computer skills/knowledge of warehouse management system preferred. Must be familiar with logistic methodology regarding traffic/carriers/loads. Must have strong skills in handling high volume product movement. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work in a demanding environment. Must possess solid written and communication skills.u00a0
