Job Summary:
As a Charge Nurse on the night shift, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents during the overnight hours. Your advanced clinical skills, along with your leadership abilities, will be utilized to oversee and coordinate the delivery of nursing care. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated LPN or RN who thrives in a fast-paced and rewarding healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, utilizing your expertise in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their individual care plans.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for the nursing staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants, offering guidance and support to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident needs, address concerns, and maintain a proactive approach to resident care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all nursing care provided and any changes in resident condition.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Exceptional clinical knowledge and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems is desirable.
