Dietary Aide

Job Description:

Caraday of Lampasas is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting in meal preparation, including cooking, baking, and food portioning

- Serving meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and restrictions

- Monitoring food quality and temperature to maintain safety and compliance standards

- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas

- Assisting with inventory control and maintaining food storage areas

- Collaborating with the dietary team to create menus and meal plans

- Providing excellent customer service to residents and their families

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
