Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Join our team at Farmington Heating & Metal, where we have been providing professional heating and air services since 1971! As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in our company by providing trustworthy and courteous service to our valuable clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
- Diagnose malfunctions and issues in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Respond to service calls in a timely and courteous manner, always representing our company in a positive light.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, tests, and repairs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
