Job Description: HVAC Installer
Modern Mechanical is a leading HVAC services provider located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Installer to join our team of professionals.
As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work closely with our project managers and engineers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine the appropriate HVAC system design and installation parameters
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems and related components
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC systems and recommending appropriate solutions
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, both within the company and on clients' job sites
- Maintaining records and documentation for all installation and maintenance work conducted
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC system installation and maintenance
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA 608, HVAC Journeyman/Installer License)
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC system mechanics and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
