The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Market price: $1,300 USDEst.

Medication Technician - Masonic Village at Warminster


Masonic Village at Warminster is currently seeking a Medication Technician to join our team. This position is available for immediate hiring and offers flexible shifts (Pool/PRN - All Shifts).


Responsibilities:


  • Provide care for residents in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner to help them reach their highest potential in physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Administer and document the administration of resident medications as directed by provider orders/medication administration records (MAR/TAR).
  • Assess resident's condition and nursing care needs and ensure medications, treatments, and care are provided as ordered.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing observations and follow-up documentation in the medical record.
  • Perform vital signs, glucometer readings, PVRs, and other necessary tests.
  • Complete admission and discharge procedures.
  • Respond to fire and disaster alarms and drills, assisting residents to safety during evacuations.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DHS regulations, and other applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Actively participate in shift handovers and report resident conditions and any unusual occurrences.
  • Count narcotics at shift change with a licensed nurse and report any discrepancies.
  • Report observations, changes, unusual conditions, or reactions to the Director of Personal Care/LPN promptly.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with residents, family members, visitors, and co-workers.
  • Advocate for residents and their families by providing information and participating in education.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current and valid CNA certification in the state of PA.
  • Successful completion of DHS Direct Care Training.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in Personal Care environment preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills required.
  • Successful completion of the DHS Medication Administration course and maintain competency associated with the course.
