Position: Village Caregiver - Part Time
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Village Caregiver to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Village Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate staff
• Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
• Foster a positive and compassionate atmosphere for residents and their families
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Must have a passion for working with seniors
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Must have a valid driver's license
