Job Description: HVAC Installer
We are searching for an experienced and skilled HVAC Installer to join our team at Jacobs Heating & Air Conditioning. As a company, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction with our AC repair, installation, and maintenance services in West Volusia County, including Deland, Deltona, Orange City, DeBary, Astor, Pierson, DeLeon Springs, and Lake Helen.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation. As an HVAC Installer, you will be a critical part of our team, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their HVAC experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems by following all safety protocols and installation standards.
- Inspect existing HVAC systems for wear and tear, as well as malfunctions and replace or repair any defective parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any HVAC system issues or malfunctions.
- Work with other team members to ensure that installation, maintenance, and repairs are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Offer customer education about proper HVAC maintenance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area to maximize productivity and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Completion of HVAC training or apprenticeship program
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
