Registered Dietitian

As a Registered Dietitian at Bay Breeze Health And Rehabilitation Center, you will play a critical role in promoting and improving the health and well-being of our residents through proper nutrition and dietary management. With your expertise, you will assess the nutritional needs of our residents and develop personalized diet plans to meet their specific requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and regular follow-ups to determine dietary needs and preferences
• Developing and implementing individualized diet plans
• Educating residents and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of diet plans and making necessary adjustments
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the holistic care of residents
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress

To excel in this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare or long-term care setting (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
