Job Overview
As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will play a vital role in the effective management and operation of our facility. You will oversee the day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, including nurses, therapists, and support staff, to deliver high-quality care to our residents. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home facility, including financial management, staff management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the facility and staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, residents, and their families to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to resident care, staff training, and facility operations.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of nursing home staff.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families.
- Serve as a liaison between the facility and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a long-term care facility.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing home operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team and inspire a culture of excellence.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
