As an HVAC Service Technician at Thornton Heating Service, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC systems. You will work alongside our team of technicians to ensure that our clients receive prompt and efficient services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and thermostats
- Diagnose problems in HVAC systems and provide cost-effective solutions
- Install new HVAC systems and upgrade existing ones
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients about the services being offered
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and report any issues to the team leader
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of HVAC systems
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- EPA certification (preferred)
