Responsibilities:

- Assist physicians and nurses in delivering superior patient care by preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the patient flow efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times and maximizing patient satisfaction.
- Utilize your strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical charts.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and handling patient inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to all necessary infection control protocols.
- Stay updated with current medical procedures, practices, and regulations to provide optimal care for our patients.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and providing necessary support to both parties.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred.
- Possession of a valid Medical Assistant certification (CMA) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical setting, especially in primary care or a similar specialty, will be advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
