Job Summary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities/Enrichment Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of a variety of activities and programs for our residents. Your creativity and passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of engaging activities and programs for our residents.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents.
• Effectively communicate activity schedules and encourage resident participation.
• Provide one-on-one support to residents who may require additional assistance or accommodations.
• Monitor and evaluate the success of activities, making adjustments as necessary to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.
• Encourage social interaction and facilitate opportunities for residents to connect with one another.
• Assist residents with transportation to and from activities, as needed.
• Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
