As an HVAC Service Technician at Wantuck Comfort Solutions, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with our clients to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and you will provide suitable solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems
- Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements
- Replace faulty or damaged components
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety and building codes
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Build positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship
- Valid HVAC certification or license
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC service work
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
