We are seeking a Scheduler - Healthcare to join our team at Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing clinical, financial, and human resources operating results as a Scheduling Manager.

Position Highlights

- Serve as the nursing center contact for all Center Department Heads and Supervisors in Labor Management Policy, Process, and Supporting Technology.

- Control Nursing Department labor spend to minimize overtime and agency usage through effective scheduling strategies and ensure adequate nursing staffing at all times.

- Ensure Nursing Hours/Patient Day are at the appropriate budgeted level and make volume-adjusted schedule changes.

- Orient new employees to Labor Management Policy and the expectation of optimizing their schedules to meet the nursing center's needs.

- Serve as a liaison with Staff in regards to work schedules.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.

- 5 years previous work experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with a proven track record in a similar position, scheduling, or payroll.

- Experience with scheduling and pay practices in a 24/7 union/non-union environment is preferred.

- Universal COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employees and on-site vendors.
