Job Description: HVAC Installer
Converse Conditioned Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in Ames, Iowa. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems such as air conditioning units, furnaces, and boilers
- Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's specifications to install HVAC units correctly
- Ensure all installations meet safety and efficiency standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs
- Communicate with customers to educate them on how to maintain HVAC systems and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have previous experience in HVAC installation and repair
- Possess a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
