The role will support our managers and staff, assist with daily office needs, and oversee general administrative activities. Key responsibilities include organizing and managing files, performing receptionist duties, maintaining the conference room, and greeting visitors. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the office operates smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. Skills/Abilities: strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to work independently and stay focused on tasks. strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard. Friendly, professional demeanor with visitors and colleagues. Proficient in Microsoft Office Problem solving capabilities Working knowledge of office equipment; printers, fax machines, and phone systems. salary: $20 - $21 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact, efficiently managing the switchboard by directing calls, answering inquiries, taking messages, and ensuring timely communication. Coordinate and manage meetings, maintaining accurate calendars, sending reminders, and preparing agendas. Support the creation of reports by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Oversee the Department of Human Resources filing system, ensuring files are properly stored, labeled, and compliant with policies. Update and maintain office policies, ensuring staff are informed of changes. Act as a liaison for internal teams and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently to build positive relationships.
