Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Weyer & Sons Htg & A/C is currently seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Hubertus Wisconsin. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to identify and address issues before they become major problems
- Troubleshooting system malfunctions to identify the root cause and recommend appropriate solutions
- Repairing and replacing defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats
- Installing and configuring new HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers
- Advising customers on the best ways to maintain and optimize their HVAC systems for maximum performance and longevity
- Recommending upgrades and modifications to existing systems to improve efficiency and reduce energy costs
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and service history
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical college education is a plus)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC service industry
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including familiarity with a wide range of makes and models
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and diagnose problems quickly and accurately
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to customers
- A commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable industry regulations and standards
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
